THE CHANGE HUB
When change gets chaotic, teams often become disengaged, frustrated, exhausted and it can lead to your most valued team members leaving.
Embarking on a change is like going to a new destination, to some it may be exciting, but to others it can be daunting.
This is why with any journey, we must be ready.
At The Change Hub, we help teams get ready for their change journey and support them along the way to reach their desired destination.
Start embedding your training into your daily practice with the support of our Change Facilitators as they help you navigate the chaos using The 6E Change Facilitation framework- a dynamic, iterative, evidence-based change navigation system.
Prevent change resistance, fatigue and exhaustion by building your team's change knowledge as they learn to navigate the chaos of change, the neuroscience of resistance and the latest in evidence-based change approaches.
Arm your team with what the resources they need to navigate complex change. Using our award-winning digital platform - The Digital Change Hub, which houses hundreds of online training modules, change design templates, and evaluation diagnostics.
Change facilitation is both an art and a science.
It is the practice of facilitating meetings, workshops, and other group events in a way that helps the participants to achieve their change goals and objectives. A Change Facilitator is a neutral third party who helps to guide the group through the process of achieving their change goals, but does not participate in the decision-making or take sides in any conflicts that may arise.
The art of facilitation involves using a range of skills and techniques to create a positive and engaging environment for the group. This includes active listening, asking open-ended questions, and using nonverbal cues to encourage participation and engagement. It also involves using a variety of tools and techniques, such as brainstorming, group problem-solving, and consensus-building, to help the group achieve their goals.
The science of facilitation involves using a systematic approach to planning and conducting a group event. This includes setting clear goals and objectives, developing an agenda, and creating a structure and process that will support the group in achieving their goals. It also involves using a range of evaluation and assessment tools to monitor the group's progress and make adjustments as needed.
Just as an orchestra conductor leads and guides a group of musicians to create a beautiful and harmonious symphony, a change facilitator leads and guides a group of individuals or teams through the process of achieving their goals and objectives. Both roles require a deep understanding of group dynamics, communication, and problem-solving, as well as a range of creative and analytical skills.
A change facilitator, like an orchestra conductor, must be able to create a positive and engaging environment for the group. This involves active listening, asking open-ended questions, and using a variety of tools and techniques to support the group in achieving their goals. A change facilitator must also be able to adapt and adjust their approach based on the needs and challenges of the group, just as a conductor must be able to adjust their approach based on the skills and personalities of the musicians.
The art and science of facilitation is a complex and nuanced field that requires a deep understanding of group dynamics, communication, and problem-solving. Just like an orchestra conductor, a change facilitator needs to be creative and analytical, helping their groups to achieve their goals and create something truly beautiful and harmonious.
